What kind of information is being posted by the library accounts above ? What kind of information should libraries post?
All the information posted are kind of instant updated information: programs that are happening in the library, new material available, comments about recent events, etc.
I believe we are posting the right information to be share by twitter.

Was the site user-friendly? Did you find it difficult to navigate?

The site was easy to navigate, but a little slow to search for the information.
I would like to have more practice before I see any practical application.

CPL 2.0 - Online Productivity Tools

Do you see free online tools like these eventually replacing expensive software like MS Office?

Yes, I believe so. I like the idea that you don't need to storage everything in your own computer. This helps with the storage space in the mobile computers. Other great feature is that these tools make it easy to share the documents with your coworkers without using emails or meetings . As a new product, it just needs time for the people to get used to it.

YouTube:The quality is excellent and spectacular depending on the video. The site is very user-friendly, with a lot of entertainment and learning subjects. This site is more for sharing any kind of videos.

Flickr's: The quality is excellent. This site has more options to work with: you participate in the creation of your own personal photo space; you can organize, share, etc. Great site...

Were you able to successfully set up your RSS feed? If you were successful, does this make information-gathering more convenient for you?

Yes, this makes information-gathering very easy and convenient.

It was great to see all the updates in only one site.

It saved me a lot of time in the Internet, because all the sites that I normally checked daily were in the same page.

CPL 2,0 - Google Universe

Oh my God! Did you see how many products are in the list of even more products?

This is incredible!

I didn't know there are so many of them. Generally, I just go to the ones I use all the time, like YouTube, Blogger, Google Maps, photos, and that is it.

I love YouTube: singers' videos, amateurs' videos, etc. I always have a lot of fun watching them.

There is a lot of creativity running free in the web.

Check it out the new products of Google and let me know what got your attention.

What do you like about the Google product? What do you dislike? Would you recommend the product to friends and colleagues?

I think that Google's products are very user friendly: easy to access and use anytime.

This makes Google toolbar as a choice for browser in many different computers' brands.

For you , is Facebook useful or a time-waster?

I believe it is very useful if you want to connect with friends around the world or in your own community and exchange instantly information or news; It is useful if you want to promote your business and programs in a non-expensive way and to a variety of different people that you normally wouldn't be connected.
Is is a new technology that needs more time for people to get used to it.

How easy or difficult was it to find articles that needed editing? Were the errors you found factual or grammar/ spelling?

It was kind of easy to find articles that needed editing, specially grammar or spelling errors.

I couldn't find any factual errors in the articles that I looked, though.

What are the advantages of storing, sharing and tagging web content this way?

What are the disadvantages?

I started using DELICIOUS after a CPL training.

It is not difficult to find the information by the tags and to share them with anybody around the web, specially when the customer is on the phone, in the info chat, or using a computer(you can navigate with the customer at the same time). With Delicious, you can:

• access the information by any computer around the world,
• save your favorites bookmarks online using your own simple words (tags),
• share the bookmarks with other people,
• your bookmarks will organize themselves by the tags,
• see some of the most popular websites on a specific topic right now,
• etc.

One of the disadvantages is that Delicious is not as friendly to use as "Google search". This make it more difficult to promote and to share with other web users. Don't forget that the Google search is already in our browser; It is one more step to go to the delicious website, to find the link and then find the information.

What do you hope to learn from CPL 2.0?

I would like to be more comfortable with this new tecnology.
It still scares me to death when I can't find my way around little problems.
